Aneta Marie Pichler (Busmic) was born in Lithuania. At the age of twelve she took her first harp instruction. She studied at the Lithuanian Music Academy. In 2000 she enrolled at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg and worked with Edward Witsenburg and Sarah O’Brien. In 2005 Aneta Marie Busmic received her Master of Fine Arts degree with distinction. She has ben a member of the “LIVE-MUSIK-NOW AID” of the Lord Yehudi -Menuhin Foundation since 2004, where she performs as solo harpist and Chamber musician.

Aneta Marie Pichler (Busmic) attended numerous international master classes with established harpists. Presently, she is studying for her doctorate and works as assistant to Prof. Sarah O’Brien.

She is teaching in several Austrian and German music schools.

Aneta Marie Pichler (Busmic) has performed as soloist thrught Europe in many chamber music and orchestra concerts. From 1999-2000 she played first harp in Lithuanian State Sinfony Orchestra and the Lithuanian National Sinfony Orchestra. From 2004-2005 harpist of Junge Philharmony Salzburg, 2005 substitute harpist of the Bruckner Orchester Linz, the Mozarteum Orchester Salzburg, presently the Salzburger Dom Orchestra and several other Austrian orchestras.
